At JDResume, safeguarding your Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is our paramount concern. When you use our ATS checker, you may upload personal documents (PDF/DOCX) containing your work history, email, phone number, and physical address.

STRICT ZERO-RETENTION POLICY FOR PDF UPLOADS:

When you upload a resume to check your ATS score, the document is parsed entirely in memory. The extracted text is securely transmitted via encrypted API to our AI engine (Ollama) strictly for the purpose of analyzing your skills against a job description. **We DO NOT store your original PDF files on our servers. We DO NOT use your personal data to train commercial AI models.**

If you choose to create an account, we store only the structured JSON representation of your resume (Master Profile) in our secure MongoDB database so you can easily apply for future jobs without re-uploading.

2. Google AdSense and DoubleClick DART Cookie

Google is one of a third-party vendor on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to www.jdresume.tech and other sites on the internet. However, visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL – https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Some of advertisers on our site may use cookies and web beacons. Our advertising partners include Google. Each of our advertising partners has their own Privacy Policy for their policies on user data.

We use the information we collect strictly to:

• Provide the ATS Resume Scoring and Tailoring functionality.
• Maintain and secure your user account and credit balance.
• Process transactions via our secure UPI gateway partner (PayNotify).
• Analyze general website traffic to improve user experience (via Google Analytics).

We will NEVER sell, rent, or lease your personal resume data or contact details to external data brokers, marketers, or recruitment agencies.

4. CCPA & GDPR Data Protection Rights

We comply fully with global data protection regulations including CCPA and GDPR. You have the right to access, rectify, or completely erase your data from our servers. If you would like to permanently delete your account and all associated resume data, please email us directly.
